We know that moving house is stressful and a huge commitment and we therefore want to make the procedure as smooth as we possibly can for you. We are committed to provided the highest possible level of customer service and will do whatever we can to help you out.
We are often asked how long a conveyancing transaction will take and unfortunately, we cannot make any promises as there are so many variables within the procedure. Generally speaking, transactions take between 6 weeks and 2 months to complete and we will try our very best to comply with any deadlines that you have in mind. However a number of factors are outside of our control for example the issuing of your mortgage offer and the position and efficiency within the rest of the chain. There are also possible problems that will need to be resolved that can delay progress, such as deficiencies within the title to the property, adverse survey results, enquiries that take time to respond to. Also the sale or purchase of leasehold flats can take considerably longer than a freehold property.
We will of course keep you fully up dated as to progress on your transaction, but you are also welcome to contact us for an update at any time.
